Editorial Line of RAC

Mission: The Contemporary Administration Magazine (RAC) has the mission of contributing to a deeper understanding of Administration by publishing relevant research papers, theoretical analyses, documents, notes, and bibliographical reviews that can substantiate the academic activities and the administrative action in public and private organizations, as well as in the third sector.

Scope and Focus: RAC publishes articles of theoretical development and technical-empirical papers in the area of Administration. Different theoretical and methodological perspectives in the treatment of themes are acceptable as long as they are consistent and relevant for the development of the area (articles based on single case studies will be accepted if they deal with highly representative organizations in their areas of expertise or in a case of significant contribution to understanding). RAC publishes not only articles, but also reviews, bibliographic notes, and documents for the reflection of the community.

Target Audience: The target audience is made up mainly of professionals and students from the Brazilian academia as well as managers of public, private, and third sector organizations interested in the dialog and innovation in administration.

Requerements: The articles, documents, notes, and bibliographical reviews submitted for the analysis of RAC must be unpublished, both nationally and internationally, and neither be under consideration for publication in any other channel of communication. Papers published in congress proceedings can be considered by the Editorial Council as long as they are in the final format for an article. The articles and documents can be written either in Portuguese, English, or Spanish.
